The 49th Annual Billings Community Fair
Labor Day Weekend, August 28th thru August 30th, 2014

The Billings Community Fair is looking for volunteers and ideas. The Fair Board meets every 3rd Monday of each month starting in January.

Joanne and Bill Verfurth


Joanne and Bill Verfurth are long time Billings residents. They both graduated from Billings in 1948. Bill spent 4 years in the Navy, and they went their separate ways, but kept in touch. They reconnected, married, and moved back to Billings. They had three daughters that graduated from Billings, three grandchildren that graduated from Billings, five grandchildren that graduated from Springfield, and twelve great-grandchildren. They are the love of their life. They spent many years with community programs. They both have worked with St Joseph's Pantry, a big part of the community. They are one of the original members of the Billings Community Fair board.

Cattywampus Band

  The Cattywampus Band returns this year with Mark Crabtree, Tom Parker, Bobby Lloyd Hicks, Dr Kent Franks, and Danny Lockmiller


Exhibits and shows

   The parade will be held 12:30 pm Saturday August 30, 2014 starting at the Billings City Park and will pass the review stand at the Billings Fire Station.

   The fair will again feature various exhibits, crafts and cattle shows for the three days of the fair; as well as the tractor pull on Friday night. This years raffle will be held Saturday, Aug 30, 2014 at 7pm.

   The Historic Billings Exhibition will be in the old Gym featuring some early Billings families and old country schools.

Reminder: Due to safety and nuisance issues, the Fair Board will again prohibit dogs, skateboards, and bicycles on the grounds during fair hours. We thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding and wish you all an enjoyable Labor Day weekend and fair.
